Under the Dome

Under the Dome by Stephen King

Stephen King is a capable writer, and has written many fine books, but I find myself interested in only his novels that veer away from the supernatural horror-genre. Under the Dome has a supernatural premise (a giant invisible dome is placed over a small Maine town and no one can get in or out), but the scope of the book focuses on the people.

This fat book (over a thousand pages) provided hours of real page-turning pleasure. Grade: B+
